IOC President Thomas Bach will be among the keynote speakers at DIF Conference 2015.

When The NOC and Sports Confederation of Denmarks (DIF) major sporting conference will take place on March 5th-7th, it will be with the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach at the podium.

Thomas Bach who was elected to the powerful Olympic top post in 2013, will among other things talk about the new winds blowing over the IOC in relation to the recently adopted Olympic Agenda 2020. He will also explain his views on the role of sport in the international community.

"We are obviously very pleased that Thomas Bach for the first time in his tenure as IOC president will visit Denmark. He is going to be part of an already ambitious congress program, where among other things organizational changes and new times in sport both nationally and internationally will be discussed. Precisely Thomas Bach has been a representative of the new ideas in the IOC framework, and therefore he fits well into the program at the DIF Congress." said the President of DIF Niels Nygaard.

Thomas Bach speaks at DIF Congress 2015 Thursday March 5th. Among others will the following speakers be on the podium:

  • And renowned architect, Bjarke Ingels
  • Director of Community Sport at Sport England, Mike Diaper
  • IOC member, Crown Prince Frederik
  • Manager of Sports Participation at NOC of Holland, Erik Lenselink
